Revelation 2:8-11

8 “To the angel of the church in Smyrna write:

These are the words of him who is the First and the Last, who died and came to life again. 9 I know your afflictions and your poverty—yet you are rich! I know about the slander of those who say they are Jews and are not, but are a synagogue of Satan. 10 Do not be afraid of what you are about to suffer. I tell you, the devil will put some of you in prison to test you, and you will suffer persecution for ten days. Be faithful, even to the point of death, and I will give you life as your victor’s crown.

11 Whoever has ears, let them hear what the Spirit says to the churches. The one who is victorious will not be hurt at all by the second death.

      HS Outing: Got To Be NC Festival (today!)

      Today after church, Lars and Anna Dunaway are taking the HSers to the Got-to-Be-NC-Festival at the State Fairgrounds. Bring $20 for lunch and rides. Parents can pick up non-driving student at 4pm at the Fairgrounds.

      Disc Golf for HS and MS (6/4)

      Get ready for an afternoon of disc golf at the Kentwood Park Disc Golf Course (4531 Kaplan Dr, Raleigh, NC 27606). Mark your calendars for June 4th (after church). This event is for both MS and HS. Feel free to invite friends.

      HS Girls Retreat (6/9-6/10)

      HS Girls mark your calendar for June 9-10 for an overnight stay at a beautiful historic home in Sanford! $20 (includes all meals), departing Raleigh at 3pm, Fri. and returning 12:30pm, Sat. It will be a great time of food, fellowship and community among the HS girls and our leaders. RSVP to Anna Dunaway.

      NOTE: Confirmation is needed to get a proper head count to pay for the location, food and supplies. Parents (or youth), please email your confirmation to Anna.
