Small Groups
All of life is better together — eating out, going to a movie, attending a conference, seeing your favorite band — it’s all made exponentially better when we experience it together. The same is true of faith.
As you can imagine the Covid-19 pandemic that began back in March of 2020 significantly changed how we did church. For more than a year, we were kept from meeting together in-person and forced to move online. This impacted our small groups considerably.
We are in the midst of restructuring and rebuilding our small group options. Some will be in-person. Others will be virtual. And others will likely be a hybrid between the two.

As our small groups begin to regroup and regather, they will be listed here. Here are our current active small groups. Please contact the group leader for details.
N.Raleigh Womens Group
2nd Tuesdays @ 7:30pm

Durham/West Small Group
1st & 3rd Thursdays @ 7pm
David and Kelli Schaad lead our Durham/West small group. They are currently using the TV series about Jesus & his disciples, The Chosen, as their curriculum. In addition to 1st & 3rd Thursdays, they also get together socially once-a-month “just for fun.”

Kim & Curtis host a new East-Raleigh / Knightdale small group at their home (305 Granite Acres Way, Knightdale). They meet 1st & 3rd Thursdays, and meet-up with the South-Raleigh / Garner small group on 5th Thursdays.

South-Raleigh / Garner Small Group
1st & 3rd Thursdays @ 7:30pm
Gerard is the point-person for a new South-Raleigh / Garner small group. On 3rd Thursdays, David & Cheryl Teal host at their home (148 Riverbirch Way, Clayton). Location for 1st Thursdays is TBD. Additionally, they meet-up with the East-Raleigh / Knightdale group on 5th Thursdays.

Ekklesia Men's Group
2nd & 4th Thursdays @ 7:00pm
Our men’s group meets on 2nd and 4th Thursday evenings at the home of Paul (and Laurie) Nelson. They are currently using The Rise & Fall of Mars Hill podcast as a study guide. The storied rise and fall of Mars Hill Church (Seattle) holds a great many lessons and warnings for all of us in the American church.
