Camp Haven is more than just a summer camp—it’s a transformative week where students build lasting friendships, create unforgettable memories, and explore their potential in a supportive community. Jointly hosted by Oak Church, the Gathering Church and Ekklesia, our residential camp in the beautiful mountains of western North Carolina provides the perfect setting for adventure, growth, and fun.

CAMP ESSENTIALS

WHO: Students entering 6th grade through newly graduated seniors (2025-2026 school year)
WHEN: Sunday, July 13 – Friday, July 18, 2025
WHERE: Taylorsville, North Carolina
COST: $495 (all-inclusive: activities, meals, lodging, and transportation)

At Camp Haven, every day brings new excitement with activities including:

• Water Adventures: Swimming (pool and lake), kayaking, lake tubing
• Sports & Games: Basketball, volleyball, soccer, pickleball, 9 Square, Gaga Ball
• Outdoor Challenges: Paintball, archery, hiking trails
• Evening Events: Campfires, talent shows, themed parties

Q: Is Camp Haven affiliated with a specific religious denomination?
A: While Camp Haven is a Christian camp hosted by Oak Church, the Gathering Church and Ekklesia, we warmly welcome students of all faith backgrounds, including those with no faith tradition. Our inclusive environment respects diverse perspectives while providing opportunities for spiritual growth and reflection.

Q: What about financial assistance?
A: We believe every student should have the opportunity to attend Camp Haven! Limited scholarships are available based on need. Simply indicate your interest in financial assistance when completing the registration form.

Q: Can I set up a payment plan?
A: Absolutely! Our recommended plan is $99/month for five months (January-May), but we can customize arrangements to fit your budget. All payments must be completed by May 31, 2025. To enroll:

• Click the “Make Payments” link below
• Under “Give,” enter your monthly payment amount
• Select “Regularly” and “Monthly” for frequency
• Choose your preferred payment date
• Select start month (remember all payments must be complete by May 31)
• Enter payment details when prompted

Q: What about supervision and safety?
A: Campers are assigned to small groups with trained counselors maintaining a 1:8 adult-to-student ratio. All staff complete background checks and safety training. We maintain 24-hour supervision and have medical personnel on-site throughout the week.

Q: What should my student pack?
A: A detailed packing list will be provided upon registration, including clothing recommendations, toiletries, and any special items needed for activities.

Q: Can I volunteer at Camp Haven?
A: We’re currently accepting applications for volunteer positions (18+ years). Roles include counselors, kitchen staff, activity coordinators, and medical personnel. All volunteers undergo background checks and training. Apply through the link below!
