Luke 3:1-14. When the crowds ask John the Baptist about how to enter God’s Kingdom, his answer is tied almost exclusively to generosity. Perhaps we need to hear John’s answer again, and remember that to enter God’s Kingdom may involve more than generosity, but it certainly does not involve less.
