Our 1st Cooking Matters Graduating Class
There are 1001 reasons why I love our faith community. But chief among them is our desire to serve and love those around us, and especially those who might have less. This fall, with the help of the Interfaith Food Shuttle, we hosted a 6 week cooking course designed to help teach people how to prepare healthy meals on a budget. It was FANTASTIC. The two classes graduated on Wednesday, Nov 16, and Thursday, Nov 17.
Please browse through the photos … and as you do, remember that this is the type of thing your financial giving makes possible. NOTE: these pictures are only from the Thursday night class. We had an even larger Wednesday night graduating class … photos coming soon.
