Jeremiah 1:4-10; Psalm 71:1-6; 1 Corinthians 13:1-13; Luke 4:21-30. When God called Jeremiah the prophet, he said, “I have put my words in your mouth. See, today I appoint you … to uproot and tear down … to build and to plant.” Could it be this pattern of uprooting and tearing down moving into building and planting is also something we should expect in our lives?
