Jeremiah 29:1-14. The oft-quote promise of Jeremiah, that God has a plan to prosper us, is almost always taken out of context. A context of slavery and bondage. Perhaps we need to hear this text again for the first time, placing in its context and letting it speak into our greatly divided world.
