Our Sunday gatherings take place at 10:45am in the sanctuary of our shared campus, The New Hope Collaborative (1725 N. New Hope Rd.). Our mornings together includes live music, a message from scripture, age-appropriate programs for children and youth (newborn through high school), along with fresh brewed coffee and light refreshments.
We’re inspired by Jesus’s prayer: “Your Kingdom come; Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.” These words guide our efforts as we seek to become “a sacrament of the world’s possibility” — showing what the world can be when we embrace radical love, welcome, and justice.
In this house, everyone belongs regardless of background, identity, or story. All are invited to participate fully in our community. No strings attached.
When and where do you meet?
We gather at 10:45am every Sunday at 1725 N. New Hope Road, Raleigh, NC. Refreshments begin at 10:30am.
Where should I park?
Parking is available along the south and west sides of our campus. Additional parking is available in the SECU (bank) parking lot beside us (south side).
What should I wear?
Come as you are! We’re casual and comfortable.
Do you have programs for children?
Yes! Ekklesia Kids and Connekkt Youth welcomes everyone birth to 18 years to our Sunday morning ministry. Click to learn more about Ekklesia Kids and Connekkt Youth.
How long is the service?
Our gatherings typically last about 60-65 minutes.
Does your church welcome LGBTQ+ persons into all aspects of church life?
Yes. We fully welcome, affirm and include all LGBTQ+ persons to actively participate in every ministry area of our church.
Why do you have co-pastors?
We believe no single person can do justice to the Gospel. The church needs multiple voices, stories, and perspectives to fully reflect Christ’s teaching.
Do you have a mission statement?
Rather than fixed mission statements that might take precedence over Jesus, we seek to discern and follow together Jesus’ life and mission — to love God and neighbor. Our informal values include welcome, authenticity, partnership, humility, and generosity. Read more about our beliefs.
How are financial gifts used?
Following the early church’s example of radical generosity, a minimum of one-quarter of all regular giving goes to serve those in need beyond our walls. We believe in proclaiming Good News to the poor not just with words but with our resources.
What does your name mean?
“Ekklesia” (eck-lay-SEE-ah), the Greek word for church, reminds us that true church isn’t about buildings but people. While our Western idea of “church” suggests structures of brick and mortar, the ancient concept of ekklesia celebrates a living, breathing community. Buildings stand still; people move and transform. We’re committed to being a church that moves.
