Current Sermon / Series

Micah 6:8

6 “With what shall I come before the Lord,
and bow myself before God on high?
Shall I come before him with burnt offerings,
with calves a year old?
7 Will the Lord be pleased with thousands of rams,
with ten thousands of rivers of oil?
Shall I give my firstborn for my transgression,
the fruit of my body for the sin of my soul?”
8 He has told you, O man, what is good;
and what does the Lord require of you
but to do justice, and to love kindness,
and to walk humbly with your God?

      Family Month is HERE!

Each week in July, there will be fun post-church lunches and activities for EVERYONE from newborns to great-grandparents. Stick around after worship for a deli-sandwich lunch before we head to JumpStreet Bounce house in Cary.

During worship, childcare will be available for kids 3-and-under. And just like previous years, we will be doing another series called Illustrated Compassion which includes fun coloring pages for everyone, including the adults!!

      Kids Ministry Volunteers Needed

With the arrival of several new babies (i.e., moms needing to step out of volunteering) and the “retirement” of a few long-time volunteers, we have five open volunteer slots in Ekklesia Kids. Like all our Sunday morning ministry teams, the commitment is once each month. If you are interested, email our fearless kids leader Lindsay Stevenson.

      Summer Financial Update

Earlier this month, one of our board members provided a financial update as part of the worship service. While giving in 2019 has been relatively consistent, we are beginning to see the usual effects of summer travel.

If you’ve never considered regular / automated giving before, now is the perfect time! You can do so easily through paypal, or through your own online banking, or by submitting a recurring giving form into the offering box on Sunday morning.
