It takes a lot of counter-cultural effort to build real community in our day and age, but community is the context in which discipleship and God’s Kingdom are lived out.
All of life is better together — eating out, going to a movie, attending a conference, seeing your favorite band — it’s all made exponentially better when we experience it together. The same is true of faith. Below is a listing of our current small groups.
Northwest Raleigh Women
Leader/Host: Holly Stephens
A study based on Jen Hatmaker’s book 7: An Experimental Mutiny Against Excess. Meets every other Monday from 7:30-9pm at Holly Stephens’ home home in North Raleigh (1108 Toppe Ridge Court).
Thursday AM Women's Group
Leader/Host: Beth Belford
A new weekly women’s small group at the home of Beth Belford (2013 Sierra Drive, Raleigh, NC 27603). The group is kid-friendly but not just for moms—all ladies welcome! No specific agenda. No homework. Just come hang out 🙂 Coffee & snacks provided.
East Raleigh Women
Leader: Amy Freeman
A study using “The Book of Joy: Lasting Happiness in a Changing World” by Dalai Lama and Desmond Tutu. Meets every other Wednesday from 7:30-9pm at Heather and Jamie‘s home in East Raleigh (4301 Emmit Dr. Raleigh, NC 27604).
Raleigh Men (morning)
