Current Sermon

Revelation 3:14-22

14 “Write this to the angel of the church in Laodicea:
These are the words of the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the ruler of God’s creation.15 I know your works. You are neither cold nor hot. I wish that you were either cold or hot.16 So because you are lukewarm, and neither hot nor cold, I’m about to vomit you out of my mouth. 17 After all, you say, ‘I’m rich, and I’ve grown wealthy, and I don’t need a thing.’ You don’t realize that you are miserable, pathetic, poor, blind, and naked. 18 My advice is that you buy gold from me that has been purified by fire so that you may be rich, and white clothing to wear so that your nakedness won’t be shamefully exposed, and ointment to put on your eyes so that you may see. 19 I correct and discipline those whom I love. So be earnest and change your hearts and lives. 20 Look! I’m standing at the door and knocking. If any hear my voice and open the door, I will come in to be with them, and will have dinner with them, and they will have dinner with me. 21 As for those who emerge victorious, I will allow them to sit with me on my throne, just as I emerged victorious and sat down with my Father on his throne.22 If you can hear, listen to what the Spirit is saying to the churches.”

      Dinner at the Mission!

This Sunday (4th Sunday of every month) is our once-a-month dinner service at the RRM. Our Connekkt HS’ers will serve 1st shift (2:30–4:30pm), but we will need volunteers for 2nd shift (4:30–6:00pm). If you don’t have plans this afternoon, Join us!

      Family Month starts July 2nd!

Each year in July we take a month off of Children’s Ministry to give our volunteers a break and, more importantly, to have some fun as a family. This July we will be doing a series called Illustrated Compassion (that’s right, everyone gets to color again… even the adults!), and each week we will have a fun, community-wide event after church. The tentative schedule is:

      • July 2nd – Independence Day Community Cookout
      • July 9th – Pool Party at Lake Johnson Pool
      • July 16th – Trampoline Park Outing (Kids of all ages can jump!!!)
      • July 23rd – Movie Outing/Event

Save the Date: August 26 — Tropical Party!

Mark your calendar for Saturday (8/26) at 5pm! Let your hair down … or put your hair up … whatever helps you feel more relaxed! Join us for a night where the only thing on the agenda is to have fun.

Our hosts (Shane and Tomra Bazer – 3809 Sparrow Pond Lane, Raleigh NC 27606) are providing the main meat dishes and all the drinks. Please bring a side dish or dessert to share. Cocktail / refreshments hour begins at 5pm. Dinner starts at 6pm.

      Prayer Team

Every Sunday after worship, members of our prayer team are available to pray with you on the upper stage (far right). The prayer team would love to serve you in this way.
